I had good breakfasts with sweets, fresh fruit and good coffee.
Even though everything was great, some of the staff were not so helpful.

Had a great time in my clean, comfy room and enjoyed a plentiful buffet breakfast. The location made exploring Palermo easy, but the dark atmosphere in the hotel could use improvement. Still, a solid stay overall!

Great location, quiet, provides all necessary amenities. Staff helpful and accommodating. Breakfast offering very good. Rooms are updated; and internet service very good.
Some of our fellow travelers were looking for ‘how to 101’ on key cards, lighting and air conditioning controls.

The location is very good and central. Rooms were wide and nice. The interior starts little bit to fade, but overall it was nice stay. The breakfast was really good and rich consider usual breakfast in Sicily.

The good thing about the Hotel was the location... I l fatto che quest'albergo e' al centro . e' l'unica cosa che ci ha gadito
Do not park you car at the hotel - We parked the car with the Hotel Concierge and they sifted out almost 1/2 of thank fo gas from our rental car. ATTENZIONE - se parcheggiate la vostra macchina con l'albergo, c'e la possibilita che vi tolgono la benzina direttamente dal contenitore...Ci e' successo a noi!

The location of this hotel is fantastic, right in the heart of Palermo with numerous restaurants and cafes nearby. My room was spacious and had a comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet had a variety of options including fresh fruit and cereal. I faced significant issues with the air conditioning. It struggled to cool the room adequately. The front desk staff lacked knowledge and often couldn't assist effectively. While I appreciated the pleasant interactions with some team members, the overall inconsistency was disheartening. The hotel's atmosphere felt dark and dreary in parts, such as the bar area, which could use more light. I also noticed the breakfast coffee wasn't served at an ideal temperature. Despite these drawbacks, the central location and comfortable bed contributed positively to my stay.

The hotel is conveniently located. Although not in the very center of nightlife, it's within walking distance of many Palermo attractions and shopping. The staff were very helpful. Google navigation App (as of October 2012) reported incorrect location for the hotel's address - it's actually between Via Ruggerio VII and Via Wagner - two blocks away from Via Roma suggested by the app.

Exceptionally comfortable and gorgeous hotel, incredible staff, really enjoyed amazing location very close to Via Roma, the historic center and famous sites such as theaters and shopping area. The place had a quiet atmosphere. Absolutely fantastic rooms with convenient terrace and great service - just as I expected. There were central heating, an individual safe, and a flat-screen TV if needed. The stay was excellent...

Good proximity to local attractions, historical charm in design, clean and well-maintained accommodations
The air conditioning is unreliable, leaving rooms too warm!!! The lack of sufficient lighting makes working in rooms a struggle!!! A poorly designed hotel layout impacts room accessibility!!! Better attention to detail is needed throughout!!!

Pros: * Situated extremely conveniently (5 min. to Politeama square where many buses stop, 10 min. to passenger port terminal, 1 min. to good places to eat/drink out - all by foot) in a quiet location * Friendly and helpful staff (all advices they given to us were very useful) * Wi-Fi (free!) worked perfectly in the room, although there was a problem to connect to gmail accounts by IMAP (probably due to some local IT issues) * Air conditioning worked perfectly (with above +40 C outside) * Comfortable room and a big bathroom with a plenty of space for your own toiletries (in Superior double room type) * Hot and cold water fall very good
Cons: * Poor breakfast: unripe fruits, no vegetable cutting, 1 type of cheese and sausages, extremely bad tea. Tea smelled and tasted chlorine (or similar). It was so bad that we seriously considered to go out for take-away tea; cappuccino had similar smell though coffee partially absorbed the chlorine taste... * Considerable leakage in the bathroom after showering or bathing (just because the shower shield is old), though the bath tub itself was big and comfortable * Wellness corner was out of order * The garden on the roof was devastated and deserted, and glass roof above the restaurant gave no sky view as it was totally dusty

Very good location, near the Teatro Massimo. Good-sized rooms. Private parking (Euro 16 per day), as parking in Palermo is a disaster.
The breakfast could have been better, but then, in most Italian hotels breakfast is nothing to write home about.
